Mary Boone, LCSW, LCDC
Mary Boone, LCSW, LCDC, has worked in the field of Substance Dependence
for thirty years, and with Mental Illness for eight years. She has experience
in the areas of education, prevention, assessment, formal intervention,
treatment programming, and therapy for individuals and couples, as well as
adolescents and their families. She has been employed as marketer,
lecturer, and treatment program counselor for Substance Dependence and
Mental Health conditions. Currently she is in private practice specializing in
assessments, formal interventions, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and
Emotional Freedom Technique. She does regular presentations at Austin
Recovery, the University of Texas School of Social Work, and others upon
invitation. She has a BA in Library Science from Our Lady of the Lake
University, MS in Higher Education Administration from the University of
Alabama, and MSSW from The School of Social Work at the University of Texas. She is a member of
the National Association of Addiction Professionals, the Texas Association of Addiction Professionals,
the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology, and the EMDR International Association.
